ABOUT
Who builds this, and why it works the way it does
MarketDirection exists because of a question that has an obvious answer on paper and a miserable one in practice: which way is the market leaning today, and is today worth trading at all.
Most tools answer neither. Scanners hand you forty tickers. News terminals hand you headlines and let you do the interpreting. Sentiment gauges tell you what the crowd felt yesterday. None of them will say a plain sentence about today and then let you check whether it was right.
So the engine does exactly that. It reads the morning's market news, calls the day's direction and trading conditions in plain English, and grades its own call against the real session at the close. Every call is logged, including the wrong ones, because a track record you cannot audit is marketing rather than evidence.
THE PERSON BEHIND IT
Lewis Talbot
FOUNDER, MARKETDIRECTION
Lewis Talbot built MarketDirection after years of starting the trading day with the same question and no honest answer to it: which way is this market leaning, and is today even worth trading. He writes the guides and articles here.
Everything published here is written or reviewed by one person rather than a content desk, which is the only honest way to sign articles about money. If something on this site is wrong, there is a name attached to it. Email support@marketdirection.io and it gets fixed.
What we publish
Everything lives in one place, under the guides: how to form a view before the open, which tools are worth the money, and how our own instruments reach a call.
